What an order looks like
Send the Whole List, Not Just the Easy Part
Buyers rarely need one product in one gauge — they need a container that arrives complete. Send the entire requirement, awkward lines included, and it leaves as one order.
1 Four metal families, one contract
Aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and copper alloys can leave in the same container — one packing list, one invoice, one shipment date to plan around.
2 Outside the range, we source it in
A custom temper, a fabricated bracket, a coated finish: where an item falls outside what we hold, we buy it in through our supply network and still deliver it under the same contract, with the same inspection.
3 One party answers for every line
Every line — held or sourced — carries the same claim contact. You raise it once with us and it gets resolved, instead of being forwarded between three suppliers.

Aluminum Weight Calculator
Work out the shipping weight before you request a quote — it is the number your freight forwarder will ask for first.
- Density is taken per alloy, not a flat 2.70 — 7075 and 1100 differ by 4%.
- Works for sheet, plate, strip, foil and circle in rectangular section.
- Your entries carry straight into the quote form, so you do not retype them.
For tube, bar and extrusion section weight, send us the drawing — the calculator does not cover hollow sections.
Calculation: thickness × width × length × density ÷ 1,000,000. Tolerance and coating weight are not included.
How we work
Six Things We Put in Writing Before You Pay
Each of these is something you can hold us to. If we cannot do it for your order, we say so at quotation — not after the deposit has landed.
1 One order, however mixed the list
A real order is rarely one product. Foil from one line, plate from another, extrusions from a third, anodizing from a fourth — we put them on one contract, one invoice and one shipment, so a 2 t line does not sit waiting until it fills a mill minimum.
Mixed-container packing list · one commercial invoice
2 If it sits outside the range, we source it in
Requirements are rarely tidy. A custom temper, a fabricated bracket, a coated finish, a gauge no single mill will roll at your quantity — where an item falls outside what we hold, we buy it in through our supply network and deliver it under the same contract, with the same inspection and the same documents. You deal with one supplier from enquiry to arrival instead of assembling the chain yourself.
Sourced lines quoted as one item, one contract
3 Our inspector stands on the production floor
For first orders and for any run above 20 t, our own QC is at the line for the thickness gauge check, surface inspection and packing supervision — not reading photographs sent to us afterwards. The checkpoint photographs reach you before the container is sealed, and the production status of your order can be asked for at any point between confirmation and loading.
Pre-loading photo set + inspection checklist
4 Gauge and flatness measured before it leaves
Thickness is checked at nine points across the width, not one. Coil camber, sheet flatness and edge burr are recorded on a checklist that travels with the shipment.
Inspection checklist copy in every shipment file
5 Certificates when your project needs them
EN 10204 3.1 with the heat analysis and mechanical results, EN 10204 2.2 where that is what your file requires, third-party inspection by SGS or BV, classification society approval for marine work. Tell us at enquiry which certificate your customer will accept and we confirm, before the order, exactly what will be issued with it.
Certificate type confirmed at quotation
6 Payment terms that leave room
A 40% deposit to start, the balance before delivery. Beyond that the structure is open: L/C at sight, staged payments across a long Program, or a different split on a repeat order. If the standard terms do not fit how you are funded, say so at quotation and we will work something out.

Mill allocation
Six Mill Regions, Matched to What Each One Does Well
A single mill sells what it rolls. We allocate by process — marine plate to a hot-rolling mill, foil to a foil mill, extrusions to a die shop. We publish the region and the process rather than mill names, because the supply relationship is ours to protect; the audit reports behind them are available to you under NDA.
| Region | Process | What it is good at | Certification | Typical MOQ | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gongyi, Henan | Hot-rolled plate & thick gauge | 5xxx marine plate, 6–200 mm, wide width | ISO 9001 · ASTM B928 marine grade | 5 t | 25–35 days |
| Wuxi / Changzhou, Jiangsu | Cold-rolled sheet & coil, slitting | 1xxx / 3xxx precision sheet, tight gauge tolerance | ISO 9001 · ISO 14001 | 2 t | 15–22 days |
| Zouping / Binzhou, Shandong | Foil rolling | Household, container and pharma foil; low pinhole count | ISO 9001 · Food contact declaration | 1 t | 20–30 days |
| Foshan, Guangdong | Extrusion & anodizing | 6063 / 6061 custom die section, anodizing 5–25 µm | ISO 9001 · Qualanod-aligned anodizing line | 500 kg per die | 18–28 days |
| Ningbo / Taizhou, Zhejiang | Color coating (coil coat line) | PVDF / PE coil coating, AAMA 2605 film build | ISO 9001 · AAMA 2605 test report | 3 t | 20–28 days |
| Luoyang, Henan | Forging & ring rolling | 2xxx / 7xxx forged ring, Ø 200–4,000 mm | ISO 9001 · AS9100-aligned process control | Per drawing | 30–45 days |
Allocation is decided per order, not per customer — the same buyer may get plate from one region and foil from another in the same container.
Where it goes
Eight Industries, Eight Different Failure Modes
The grade that survives a ship hull will fail on a facade, and the alloy that anodizes beautifully will crack under a press. Pick by end use, then work back to the spec.
Marine & Shipbuilding
Mg-alloyed plate resists seawater and welds without losing strength. This is the series classification societies expect to see on hull plate.
Transport & Automotive
Weight reduction per body panel is the entire business case. Formability and weldability decide the grade.
Building & Curtain Wall
Facade work is a coating problem first and a metal problem second. PVDF film thickness and anodizing class are what the specifier checks.
Packaging & Foil
Pinhole count, elongation and surface cleanliness are the three numbers that decide whether a foil runs on your line.
Cookware & Deep Drawing
Deep drawing is a ductility test. Purity and O-temper control decide whether the blank draws or tears.
Electronics & Heat Management
Heat sinks are an extrusion geometry problem: fin height, fin pitch and flatness tolerance. 6063-T5 holds fine fins that 6061 cannot.
Solar & New Energy
Frame extrusion for PV modules, and battery casing / collector foil for storage. Anodizing-grade surface plus straightness within 0.3 mm/m.
Industrial & Machining
Machining stock. Grain direction, residual stress relief (T651) and dimensional stability decide whether the part moves after it is cut.
Process
From Enquiry to Sealed Container — Six Steps
1 You send the spec
Grade, temper, thickness, width, quantity, end use. A drawing if it is an extrusion. Incomplete specs are fine — we will ask.
2 We pick the mill
Allocation by process and by current rolling schedule, not by habit. We tell you which region will run it and why.
3 Quote with the numbers attached
Price, Incoterm, port, lead time, MOQ and the certificate type, in one document. 24 hours on stocked grades.
4 Production with our QC present
For first orders and anything above 20 t, our inspector is on the mill floor for gauge check and surface inspection.
5 Packing and loading, photographed
Seaworthy packing, then photos of the strapping, the container and the seal number before it leaves.
6 Documents and follow-up
Certificate class agreed at quotation — 3.1, 2.2 or third-party — plus CO, packing list and BL. One contact for anything after arrival.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Six of the ten questions we answer most often. See all ten, with links to the pages behind them →
Can you supply a mix of products, or items not listed on this site?
Yes — a mixed order is the normal case, not the exception. One container can carry foil, plate and extrusions from three different lines and still leave on a single invoice. Where an item falls outside what we hold — a custom temper, a fabricated part, a coated finish — we buy it in through our supply network and deliver it under the same contract, with the same inspection and the same documents. Send the whole list, including the awkward lines.
What happens if one line of my order goes wrong?
You raise it with us, and only us. Every line on the packing list — the ones we hold and the ones we sourced in — sits under the same contract, the same invoice and the same claim contact. You are not left forwarding photographs between three suppliers who each say the other one packed it.
What alloy do I need for a marine hull?
5083 or 5086 in H116/H321 temper for hull plate, 5754 or 5083 for superstructure. The reason is magnesium content: it gives seawater corrosion resistance and keeps weld strength without heat treatment. Avoid 6xxx below the waterline and avoid 2xxx in marine service entirely.
What is the difference between EN 10204 2.2 and 3.1?
A 2.2 certificate is the supplier stating that the material meets the standard — no test values, no signed heat analysis. A 3.1 certificate carries the actual heat analysis and mechanical test results, signed by the mill inspector who ran them. If your project has a classification society or an aerospace customer behind it, 3.1 is normally the minimum accepted.
What is your minimum order quantity?
2 tonnes for stocked flat-rolled product, 1 tonne for foil, and 500 kg per extrusion die. Below the mill minimum we consolidate, so small orders ship but wait for a shared container.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. Standard A4 samples of stocked grades and finishes ship free by courier; you pay the freight. For an extrusion we can send a 200 mm section off an existing die, or quote a trial tooling cost for a new one.
